SAP implementation in the steel industry
Background
TATA Consulting Services hand-picked CoreChange as their local implementation partner as they needed help in an SAP implementation project for a Swedish steelmaker and didn’t have the ability to put their own resources in place. CoreChange was given the opportunity to not only step into the roles of project management, but also provide services as solution architects in Sales & Distribution, Materials Management and Finance.
Assignment
The project involved more than 50 consultants in India, had a very tight schedule and included all the client's business processes, which placed enormous demands on the project manager and solution architects. As a project manager, CoreChange ensured that the delivery of the company's new business system was successful and that the templates that were set up could be reused for the company's future business system implementations in Europe.
