When a global telecoms company aims to modernise its global purchasing landscape, CoreChange drives the procurement. Four old on-premise systems will be replaced by a modern cloud system in order to elevate the user experience and streamline from purchasing to invoice with best practice in the planned standard system. 

During the preliminary study, CoreChange developed a goal and vision for the transformation, collected requirements from all geographical corners of the business and facilitated quantitative analyses of market-leading software suppliers. 

Gartner's Magic Quadrant and a large number of reference dialogues were analysed early in the preliminary study to make concrete a current and relevant market situation, based on requirements. Furthermore, detailed product demonstrations were carried out, based on developed “use cases”, with a handful of suppliers. The two strongest candidates from these were passed for proof of concept and final negotiation. Finally, the price situation and product selection for the right functionality are negotiated, anchored to the customer's long-term system strategy and vision for how ERP and purchasing systems will integrate.
