When a global telecoms company aims to modernise its global purchasing landscape, CoreChange drives the procurement. Four old on-premise systems will be replaced by a modern cloud system in order to elevate the user experience and streamline from purchasing to invoice with best practice in the planned standard system. 

For direct hardware, the purpose is to automate transactions with high volumes and support cooperation between buyer and supplier, freeing up time for purchasing and logistics. SAP Ariba simplifies supplier onboarding, which greatly accelerates the lead time for the first purchase in the new solution without compromising on contract compliance. 

 

For indirect material, the driving force is to modernise the user experience with "guided buying", where the end user can easily find the right product as required, using the same search feature and catalogue structure as in a regular web shop.
